Acting in partnership with the community
The SADCs (Community Futures Development Centres) of Baie-des-Chaleurs, Gaspé and the Magdalen Islands can support you in your efforts to promote and encourage community initiatives.
A few activities:

Participate in development committee activities;

Support the implementation of local and regional initiatives;

Assist with or organize activities that encourage working together, as well as information sessions regarding new trends in industrial sectors;

Encourage a sense of local pride and belonging, and promote buying locally;

Develop value-added products;

Become partners in various initiatives: Gaspésie Gourmande, Tourisme Baie-des-Chaleurs, Corridor Bleu, etc.
The SADC approaches its actions from a local development perspective.
Local development is a dynamic reflecting Baie-des-Chaleurs that taps into community resources and emphasizes actions intended to improve the quality of life and optimize the abilities of the community.
